Berkley Chamber of Commerce Mission Statement

Board Meetings - Various Dates
Board Meetings are held each month alternating between morning and late afternoon hours. Attendance is not mandatory but members are welcome. Please review the "Events Calendar" for the current schedule.

Chamber Chats/Berkley Blenders - Various Dates
Networking events are available for members to either host or attend. There is no cost to attend. This is a superb opportunity to meet fellow Chamber members. "Chamber Chats" are morning events and "Berkley Blenders" are after-hours. There are currently one of each available for hosting each month. Chamber Holiday Party - December 2008, exact date and location TBD
The party's on us! The title says it all. It's the holidays and there's a party. Join us for appetizers and a cash bar. You may just win the raffle for a gift card to help with those holiday shopping bills! See our "Events Calendar" for the latest details.

Membership Meeting - February 28, 2008
This is our "State of the Chamber" meeting. We look at our accomplishments for the past year and our goals for the New Year. The event is free of charge for Chamber members.

ArtBash - June 14, 2008
Berkley's very own art fair! The fair provides art, crafts for children, live music, food, entertainment by our local dance studios, and inflatable fun for the kids. Fun for all! Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available. Click here for artist application.

Berkley CruiseFest - August 15, 2008
Berkley kicks off the Woodward Dream Cruise with a Classic Car Parade the Friday evening before the Woodward Dream Cruise. The Chamber sells the official CruiseFest t-shirt with sponsorship spots available on the back of the shirt.

Golf Outing - September 12, 2008
This annual event is held at Rackham Golf Course in Huntington Woods. 18-hole golf scramble, lunch, door prizes, hole contests, and an awards banquet following golf. This fun event provides networking and sponsorship opportunities for members.

Pub Crawl - October 2, 2008
A progressive celebration of Berkley's nightlife, restaurants and food fare! You can either burn off the calories by walking from venue to venue OR take our free transportation that ensures you hit each delicious spot by the events end! Various establishments participate. Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available.

State of the City Luncheon - October 23, 2008
An annual luncheon meeting during which the mayors of Berkley and Huntington Woods, the Berkley School District Superintendent, and the President of the Berkley Chamber of Commerce present the years accomplishments, challenges and future goals. The luncheon provides a great occasion to network with other Chamber members and City leaders.

Holiday Lights Parade - December 6, 2008
This family event is sponsored by the City of Berkley and the Holiday Lights Parade Committee. Join the Chamber for shopping and caroling on the "Shopping Trolley". FREE trolley rides offer multiple stops throughout the downtown. Shop Berkley's unique stores and restaurants for in-store specials as well as treats and giveaways. The daytime events are followed by the annual Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony. Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available.

Employment Law Handbook
